The Morab Horse at Al-Qamar Farm is the answer to our quest to produce the ultimate family horse and athlete for all disciplines.
We wanted a horse who exemplifies
the best qualities in our Arabian
mares and who displayed added strength, size and willing dispositions
with stylish carriage. The answer?
Breed to an American Morgan Horse.
Another Morab breeder of our aquaintence put it aptly when she said that "if you think a Morab is a Half-Arabian you are Half-right!"
A quality Morab, under saddle, at
halter or in the pasture will "wow your socks off."
"Dancer" is a big, bold and beautiful
mare with a lot of athletic potential. She has a special charisma
and "look at me" attitude. This mare moves like her dam but with her
longer legs and very upright collected head carriage she looks like she's
trotting on clouds.
Dancer is 15' hands, a very elegant mahogany bay
with 3 white socks and a heart shaped star, strip and snip. In July
of 2003 Dancer won several Regional Championship titles under "R" judge Debby
Stephens at the Liberty Classic show and repeated her wins in 2004.
Dancer's Wins:
First Place - Half -Arabian Mare
Champion - Half-Arabian Champion
Champion - Morab Mare Breeding Halter
Champion - MHA Specialty Morab Mares
Champion - Morab at Liberty
