The Arabian horse is the foundation of Al-Qamar Farm and it is our love for the Magnificent Arabian Horse that began our oddessey into the world of squeaky saddles, early morning feedings and foal whiskers.

Our Farm name comes from Arabic meaning "The Moon" and helps
give a sense of connection to the ancient desert origin of our horses.
Al-Qamar mares all carry the purest Arabian blood that could be exported from
Egypt to England and America. We are concentrating on two recognized
"types" that of the Crabbet Arabian and that of the Straight Egyptian.
It is our pleasure to introduce two of our mares which we feel represent the best qualities of Crabbet and Egyptian breeding found at our farm. In the interest of a quality breeding program, some of our related breeding stock may be for sale or we may consider partial trades for certain mares, foals or stud services.
Shaik Al Jamaal
Straight Egyptian gray gelding. "Shaikal" does endurance
racing and dressage. Shaikal is from top bloodlines with Shaik
Al Badi, Nazeer, Moniet el Nefous and other great Arabians in his pedigree.

BlueMoon is a 14'1 hand "powerhouse" mare who loves to be worked under saddle
and will willingly lounge till she's lathered and still ask for more.
This mare is English/Dressage type and moves with a floating trot.
Blue is trained and ridden by a woman and will allow our 9 year old daughter
to safely ride her. She will go bareback in a halter and lead rope safely
on trails - we consider this mare to be practically bombproof. This
mare is a beloved member of our family and we have no plans to sell her.
